Home/For sellers/A confidential business sale

You decide what we share, with whom and when.

Confidentiality is the foundation of our work together. We agree in advance who we may approach, what information we may share and when we may move forward.

What can happen if your plans to sell become known too soon?

Key employees become uncertain, and the best may be the first to leave. Competitors start approaching your customers. Suppliers tighten payment terms. The bank reconsiders your credit facility. All before you have sat down with a single serious buyer.

We keep the public anonymous profile separate from confidential company information. We share detailed information in controlled stages with pre-screened interested buyers.

How we protect you

  • We treat your first enquiry as confidential.
  • Only an anonymous profile approved by you may be made public.
  • A buyer initially sees only an anonymous profile: sector, size and situation.
  • We share identifying information only with your approval, after a non-disclosure agreement has been signed.
  • We treat customer lists and know-how as particularly sensitive information.
  • We plan the timing and approach to informing employees together with you.

How do we advertise discreetly?

Anonymous business profiles may appear on the website. Their purpose is to attract the right buyers without making the company's name or confidential information public.

In specialist sectors, leaving out the company name alone is not enough. The activity, location and financial information can be revealing in combination. We assess what detail can be included in each profile and agree the wording with you before publication.

After the public introduction, access to detailed information is subject to pre-screening, confidentiality and the owner's approval. We also approach our own investor network directly.

The opportunity is visible. Information sharing is controlled.

Let's talk in the same confidence

You do not even need to share your company's name in the first conversation.
